English
In this workshop, we explore how technology can support grassroots organising and resistance. Aimed at activists working at sea, at borders, or within Germany, we’ll guide participants through a structured process to identify challenges in their work and imagine practical tech-enabled solutions. You’ll leave with a concrete idea to develop with your tech allies. Workshop held in German and English.

Deutsch

Who are we?

We are a tech-collective that is interested in working at the intersection of tech and social justice. Our focus is on applying technology to genuinely support the needs of activists and organisations involved in solidarity and resistance, without falling into the pitfalls of solutionism or tech-for-tech’s-sake.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is for anyone that is actively organising in solidarity and resistance — whether at sea, on land at other borders, or within Germany — who is interested in leveraging technology for social justice.

What will you gain?

While cutting-edge technologies are often used by corporations for efficiency, we propose to explore how these same tools can simplify and enhance the operations of activist organisations. Participants will leave with:
* Inspiration: A solution idea you can develop with your trusted tech-team.
* Collaboration: The option to work with us to build out your concept.

The Workshop: Ideation to Action

We will guide you through a structured ideation process to identify and develop tech solutions:
* Brainstorming current struggles, pain-points, and ideal scenarios ("wouldn't it be nice if…").
* A short presentation of concrete, conceptual tech ideas/use-cases to inspire possibilities.
* Structured exercises to build out initial solution prototypes.

This workshop will be available in both German and English.
